Boat Archipel I
The Archipel I is a comfort class catamaran that was built in 2003 and renovated in 2017 to offer optimal comfort to passengers. The ship is 90 feet long and it can accommodate up to 16 passengers in 8 double cabins. The cabins are all equipped with twin beds or a large double bed, a private bathroom with hot and cold water, shower, sink and toilet. The cabins are also air-conditioned and have storage space for luggage and clothes. The upper deck is the ideal place to observe the fauna and flora of the Galapagos Islands. It offers a spacious deck equipped with lounge chairs. The lower deck has a comfortable lounge where passengers can relax and enjoy a meal. There is also a dining room where meals are served buffet style. Meals are prepared by an experienced chef who uses fresh, local ingredients to create tasty dishes. The lower deck also houses a briefing room where the naturalist guides give lectures on the fauna and flora of the archipelago before each excursion. Excursions are organized twice a day and include island hikes, snorkeling, glass-bottom boat trips and visits to research centers. The Archipel I boat is equipped with all the amenities necessary to ensure the comfort and safety of passengers, including security features, Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, DVD player and a library with a variety of books and board games.
