Completely refurbished in 2019 with a complete interior renovation, Calipso is one of the most elegant, chic and modern cruises and one of the only ships currently offering diving and naturalist itineraries that can be combined to explore every corner of the Galapagos Archipelago. More spacious and decorated with beautiful carved wood and large panoramic windows, Calipso's 10 cabins are ready to accommodate up to 16 travelers and allow them to live an extraordinary experience. Each cabin is air-conditioned, with its own private en-suite ceramic and porcelain "waterfall" bathroom, complete with soft towels and quality shower products. You will also find a television, a large closet, a strongbox and numerous charging points for your electronic devices. Two single cabins on the lower deck allow travelers to avoid paying extra for single occupancy. Whether you are a diver or not, you will appreciate the beautiful dive deck for its calm and design. Its 4 hot water showers, charging and storage stations for cameras and a two-level wash tank for smaller cameras will provide you with all the necessary comfort. The other communal areas are not left out on the boat, and you will fully enjoy the upper deck and its large terrace with barbecue area, restaurant and outdoor bar, not to mention a magnificent Jacuzzi with a breathtaking view on the archipelago. Inside the ship, you will also find another restaurant area with a refined cuisine, as well as another very chic bar. Calipso offers high quality naturalist itineraries of 3, 4 and 8 days, mixing activities such as snorkeling, panga trips, and dry or wet landings on the islands. The dive itineraries are planned over 7 days, and allow you to enjoy world famous spots such as Wolf & Darwin (presence of whale sharks, hammerheads and dolphins). You will also visit Marchena, visited until recently almost exclusively by scientists and reporters, and known for its very large groups of dolphins, hammerheads, and Galapagos sharks. Calipso's fully bilingual crew is extremely knowledgeable and welcoming, ensuring a shared experience of the archipelago's rich wildlife.
