The Cachalote Explorer is a 95-foot-long (29-meter) exploration boat. The boat is designed to accommodate a maximum of 16 passengers, which guarantees a personalized and comfortable experience! The boat offers eight cabins, each equipped with a private bathroom with hot and cold shower, as well as individual air conditioning for optimal comfort. The cabins are located on the lower deck, which is also equipped with large portholes for passengers to enjoy the ocean view. The main deck houses the dining room, lounge and outdoor deck. The dining room is spacious and offers comfortable seating for all passengers. Meals are served buffet style and offer a selection of Ecuadorian and international dishes. The lounge is equipped with comfortable sofas and a television, as well as a library with a selection of books on Galapagos wildlife. The outside deck is equipped with lounge chairs, tables and chairs, and is a great place to relax and enjoy the view of the Galapagos Islands when you return from your excursions! There is also an upper deck with a panoramic view of the ocean. The Cachalote Explorer also features an experienced crew, including a bilingual naturalist guide, who accompanies passengers on excursions to discover the islands' flora and fauna. Excursions include shore excursions to observe wildlife, hiking and swimming. The boat is also equipped with snorkeling gear and kayaks for offshore activities.
