The Ecogalaxy is a first-class cruise catamaran that offers an exceptional travel experience for passengers, while respecting the fragile environment of the Galapagos Islands. The ship is approximately 100 feet long and can accommodate up to 16 passengers in its eight spacious cabins. Each cabin is equipped with a private bathroom, air conditioning, a mini-bar and a flat screen television. The cabins are tastefully decorated and offer an ocean view. The catamaran also features elegant common areas, such as a comfortable lounge with a library, a refined dining room and an outdoor terrace with lounge chairs. Passengers can relax and enjoy the breathtaking ocean views while sampling gourmet dishes prepared with fresh local ingredients. The Ecogalaxy is equipped with all the necessary equipment to allow passengers to discover the Galapagos Islands in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner. Kayaks, snorkeling gear and wetsuits are available on board, as well as an experienced bilingual (spanish/english) naturalist guide who accompanies the island tours. The boat uses state-of-the-art technology to minimize its impact on the environment. It has sewage and waste treatment systems, as well as solar panels to generate energy.
